New Alpine A110 E-ternité Debuts In Paris As A 239 HP Electric Prototype With Removable Roof Panel | Carscoops carscoops
and the company is previewing what to expect from its next generation of sports cars by showing us a battery-powered version of its current car called the A110 E-ternité.
While the battery pack weighs 864 lbs , the car’s overall weight has only climbed 569 lbs compared to the ICE variant. That’s a relatively modest gain and the battery pack enables the prototype to have a WLTP range of 261 miles . While Alpine could have easily called it a day there, designers wanted to address demands for a convertible variant. As a result, the prototype has been equipped with a removable roof panel that allows for an open air experience without impacting rigidity.flax components
