A new survey by Bumble shows 58% of Canadians said while equality between women and men is getting better, women are still way behind men.

The poll, based on a survey of more than 2,500 Canadian adults, between August and September last year, found 79% of respondents feel women have to compromise in a way men don’t when it comes to career, relationship and family. More than 61% of Canadian respondents — females and men — said taking maternity leave hurts women’s career prospects.
