One NBA writer has suggested that the New Orleans Pelicans could consider trading Zion Williamson.
In their biggest move of the offseason to date, they acquired star guard Dejounte Murray in a major trade with the. He was a huge addition that will bring scoring, defense, and playmaking to the court.
While that trade has not happened yet, it is still widely expected that New Orleans will move him before the 2024-25 NBA season.has opined that New Orleans could trade Zion Williamson. It is a suggestion that seems far off of what the Pelicans want to do. Thankfully, Kirsch did mention that a trade involving Williamson was unlikely. To even bring up a Williamson trade this offseason at all was out of left field.
During the 2023-24 season with New Orleans, Williamson ended up playing in 70 games. He averaged 22.9 points per game to go along with 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.1 steals. Williamson shot 57 percent from the floor as well.
