If the Warriors win another title Thursday, Adam Silver won't be on hand for it.
Add one more: If the Warriors win Game 6 in Boston on Thursday night, clinching their fourth title in eight years and extending a dynasty, NBA commissioner Adam Silver won't be there for it.
Silver is isolating while he has COVID. He missed Game 5 as well, and the league announced hours before Thursday's 6 p.m. tip-off that he would miss Game 6. In his absence, longtime deputy commissioner Mark Tatum would present the Warriors with their trophy.
