The rocket is scheduled to lift off on Saturday, March 11, from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in eastern Virginia

The mission, named “Stronger Together,” is a “dedicated launch for satellite manufacturer and Earth observation company Capella Space,” NASA said. People in New Jersey and other eastern states may be able to see a Rocket Lab Electron rocket that is scheduled to be launched by NASA on Saturday, March 11, 2023.and grounds will not be open for this launch viewing, but the center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for visitors who are looking for additional information about good places to see the launch.
Some of the recommended viewing locations are on Chincoteague Island, including Robert Reed Park, Curtis Merritt Harbor, and the Beach Road causeway between Chincoteague and Assateague islands, NASA said. Atlantic beaches in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia also tend to be good viewing locations for Wallops rocket launches.
For people too far away or blocked by clouds, a live webcast of the rocket launch will be available atIf you miss the upcoming launch, mark your calendar for two other rocket launches that are scheduled at the Wallops facility this spring and early summer. The scheduled dates are:A Terrier-Improved Malemute rocket is scheduled to be launched during the day. The specific time has not yet been announced.: A Terrier-Improved Orion rocket is scheduled to be launched during the day.
