BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty has opened up on a scary experience where she felt ‘intimated’ by a man as she walked home alone.

As part of the project, Naga spoke on BBC Radio 5 Live about a heart-breaking fears about nights out, as she joined a group of female students in Leeds who felt the same way. Naga continued: ‘The thing that would help me, if I heard something, even if it was just a clearing of the throat, or music or a phone conversation, I would acknowledge you, and I can only talk about how I feel, and I would feel safer, if the man who was walking behind me crossed the road and sped up so he was walking in front of me.
