At the tournament held in Lantz, N.S., the Growlers were held winless against some of the top teams in the Atlantic provinces. The Growlers started the tournament with a tight 5-3 loss to the Moncton Flyers. They again came close to a win in their second game against the Steele Subaru u-18 Major but again fell short.Their next two games were against the teams that eventually found themselves in the tournament final on Sunday, the Halifax Macs and the Kensington Wild.Connor Hussey was the top scorer for the Growlers with two goals and three points in the tournament. Nolan Avery also picked up three assists.
