ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Newfoundland and Labrador is gearing up to tap into its potential in the critical minerals sector.
A new Critical Minerals Plan is a development framework for all aspects of development, from geoscience to manufacturing, aimed at ensuring inclusivity, environmental responsibility, innovation, and collaboration and backed by $4.3 million in provincial funding.The Liberals will spend $3 million to advance geoscience, using innovative technologies like artificial intelligence and remote sensing to improve the collection of and access to data.
