My Hero Academia: Endeavor from the Endeavor Agency arc
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Endeavor Agency arc of My Hero Academia may not be as impactful as some other arcs, but it does reaffirm its namesake hero's turn towards redemption by showing a new side of the series' number one hero. Endeavor begins to behave as not only the top hero should, but more like the father he's never been.
A Turning Point for Endeavor Close The Endeavor Agency arc marks a major point in the redemption of Endeavor as a character, and his transformation into a person whose actions are more befitting of the number one hero. While Endeavor initially only wants to train his son, he soon realizes that the top hero should be guiding all three of these youths towards their future careers, as every hero is likely to be vital in the coming confrontation.
The Todoroki family drama comes up once again in this arc as well, finally revealing that Shoto's older brother Toya Todoroki died at a young age. Natsuo blames Endeavor for this, and Endeavor even seems to blame himself for it, realizing that he pushed the boy too hard and that this is what ultimately drove him to the actions that led to his death.
Whether the transition away from an ensemble to a focus on these three is a good thing or not is likely to vary from person to person. Bakugo and Todoroki are easily among the most popular characters in the series, so it makes sense to give them more spotlight, and Todoroki's ties to Endeavor give him a good reason to be getting extra focus at this particular moment.
