Mum tells murder trial jury of frantic moment she rushed kids inside after man was shot in the street as they played
A mum has told a jury of the moment she frantically rushed her children into her house after a man was shot in the street while they played.
Mr Halpin, prosecutors allege, then appeared to play a 'pivotal part in the destruction' of the silver Audi they travelled in, which was spotted by an off-duty police officer on fire. Ms Clowes said the associate briefly went into the house then came bac. The van left and was driven back onto the main road, she told jurors.
Ms Clowes said three men went into the 'crack house'. Moments later the van came back with Mr Graham and his associate, she added."I didn’t see their faces as they all had balaclavas on. One of them opened the passenger door and shot Luke Graham. I heard three bangs. The other men stayed to the left of the man who shot him.
"I came downstairs and they were all in the living room, three males. I was not able to see their faces as they all had balaclavas on," Mr Levesconte said.As he phoned him, he said he heard one of the men mumble: "No funny business or I’ll put one in your leg."
