Multiple lanes of northbound Interstate 5 are blocked near Interstate 405 after a fatal crash Sunday.TUKWILA, Wash. — WSDOT says drivers should expect a “lengthy closure” as multiple lanes of northbound Interstate 5 are blocked near Interstate 405 after a fatal crash.
Around 8:30 a.m., one person was killed in a collision on northbound I-5 near Southcenter Mall, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson. A person was reportedly driving their car at around 100 mph when they crashed into a barrier and a box truck.
