The Mulgrave Road Theatre in Guysborough has received a $500,000 boost from the provincial government to create a carbon-neutral community and performance centre at the former Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation building. The theatre will use the funding to expand and upgrade the former Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation building in Guysborough. The facility will feature solar heat, LED lighting, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems and be designed to conserve water and use solar energy to generate electricity.
