A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving the bike he was riding and a lorry.

The two vehicles collided on the A528, which links Shrewsbury and Ellesmere at Preston Gubbals by the junction for Bomere Heat and Merrington near St Martin's Church, about five miles north of the county town.West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 12.22pm, and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire to the scene.
