Retired baseball all-star Justin Morneau, golfer Richard “Disco Dick” Zokol and broadcaster Don Taylor are among 2024 inductees in the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
The 1998 Langley Little League All-Stars Boys will be honoured as a team , as will the pioneers of the 1921-22 Vancouver Amazons . Born and raised in Prince George, resided in Vancouver and Nelson in recent years. Died in January 2022. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Moved to Port Moody in 1966 and resided there for the remainder of his life. Died in January 2018.
