A report from treasurer Kate Ballard indicated the board was not aware of the breadth of liabilities until August, as a proper financial report was not presented in 2021.Article content These grant funds have been transferred to Canada Revenue Agency for recovery, as reports were not filed to the grant agency.
In the interim, Moose Jaw Pride will not be offering any services as an entity. This includes any of the organization’s outreach or advocacy work, as well as services and community supports.Reports presented during the AGM indicate the thrift store, located on Main Street, has not been “a viable revenue-generating enterprise” for some time.Article content
