Marilyn Perez said her Bronx apartment exacerbates her asthma and COPD, making it difficult to breathe. 'I need somewhere safe, because there is not good. Because it has mold, it has leaks,' Perez said.
Whyte said oftentimes factors like housing, food insecurity and lack of transportation influence health outcomes.
