On Tuesday afternoon, State Senator Scott Wiener held a special hearing about the monkeypox outbreak in California. He thinks the state can continue to do more to address the growing crisis. Some of the things Wiener is asking for include: His team has submitted a $38.5 million emergency state budget request to help support local public health departments.
