Moment triple murderer Jordan Monaghan denied killing children caught on police camera
The moment murderer Jordan Monaghan denied killing his two young children and girlfriend was caught on police camera.
On the evening of 17th August, 2013, Laura Gray of Blackburn, Lancashire, went to wake her son, 21-month-year-old Logan, from a nap in his pram. After discovering that he was unresponsive, Laura rushed Logan to hospital. “With what evidence are you doing this,” Monaghan asks in handcuffs, before being led into a police van. At Blackburn Police Station, Monaghan was interviewed under caution.
Speaking on the Discovery+ program, The Killer In My Home: A Deadliest Mums & Dads Special, Detective Chief Superintendent Pauline Stables relayed how police has approached both tragic cases. She said: "We asked for advice from forensic pathologist, paediatric pathologist, neurologist, cardiologist, infectious diseases specialist, geneticist, all to rule out any potential natural cause for Ruby's death.
