The murder trial of Johnathan Murphy II, 38, ended in a hung jury, court records showed.
A Mobile County judge on Wednesday declared a mistrial in the murder trial of a former Prichard police officer accused of killing his neighbor while off-duty in 2020, according to court records.
Taylor was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when police arrived. He was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.
