MilesMorales has a new costume in Marvel Comics, and the young SpiderMan has rarely looked cooler than he does in a new variant cover by JSwayArt.
Miles Morales strikes a pose and shows off his newest Spider-Man costume in a stunning new piece of cover art from artist Joshua"Sway" Swaby. The variant cover, which will appear on the front of Avengers #53 by Marvel Comics, shows Spider-Man looking cooler than ever before in his new suit, as he swings in the air while putting up a peace sign.
Last year, artist Chase Conley designed a Spider-Man suit for Miles Morales that gave him a distinct, fresh look. Miles needed a new suit in the comics and received one from Kenneth Kingston - a young fashion designer Spider-Man bonded with earlier in the Miles Morales: Spider-Man series. While talking about the hero's new costume, Conley said he wanted to give the hero a"different silhouette," which he accomplished with a more casual look.
Swaby is slowly becoming a superstar artist, as his covers for both Marvel and DC Comics have been great across the board. The artist first captured our attention with his stunning take on Nubia for Nubia in the Amazons #1. The Miles Morales cover isn't even the only incredible work he's shared early in the year, as Swaby's upcoming variants on Storm and Luke Cage absolutely nailed the characters with his signature style.
Even fans who are lukewarm on Miles Morales' new Spider-Man costume should enjoy Joshua"Sway" Swaby's latest illustration. The variant cover captures the coolness of the hero with the pose while offering a dynamic perspective.
