Across The Spider-Verse's Deleted Scene Sets Up Spider-Man 2099's Team During his multiversal travels following Gwen, Miles ends up meeting Miguel O'Hara and his Spider Society, a team of Spider-Man variants from all over the Spider-Verse. Miguel and Miles have a major falling out over the Spider Society trying to prevent the young Spider-Man from saving his father from the Spot, as that would disrupt a Canon Event, allegedly destroying Miles' reality.
