Listen to MikePosner's PrinceAkeem, feat. WizKhalifa
Mike Posner is proud of his accomplishments and he's basking in celebration in his new track, "Prince Akeem."
The upbeat, funky tune is an ode to success, as Posner flows, "Used to be a wannabe, now I'm what I wanted to be/I'm an underdog, dog, I'm Ralph Naderin'/Followin' my intuition now and that's a major win." The point is further solidified as verses one and two are linked through a computerized voice stating, "Mike Posner, boy, is he talented, I mean he's so talented." Wiz Khalifa rounds out the track with similar sentiments: "Too rich to ever fit in/You wait the front, I get in."
Among the theme of accomplishment, the Grammy nominee has been releasing music to commemorate milestones in his 3000-mile walk across America, which he started four months ago. He released "Look What I've Become" when he crossed the state line between Missouri and Kansas, and "Prince Akeem" marks passing the midpoint of the country, from Kansas into Colorado.
