Mississippi State fans filled the lower bowl of The Hump while some of the most prominent figures in college athletics sat on the court. Ranging from TCU coach Sonny Dykes, who was a young assistant under Leach at Texas Tech, to, who opposed him in fierce rivalry, the legacy left behind by Leach was apparent.
He pushed them as much as any coach, but it came from a place of love. Even in his coach speak, Leach left his mark.
