A Middlebrook Boulevard home that Middleburg Heights City Council officially declared a nuisance in February has finally come down.
The property at 6774 Middlebrook Blvd. is now free of a structure that basically went untouched inside and out for nearly two years after the elderly homeowner initially entered into a healthcare facility and later died in October 2022.
He noted at the April 8 Finance Committee meeting that there are dead trees on the lot that may need to be removed as well, at an additional cost.Records show a history of property violations dating back to at least 2015.inspected the site in February 2023 and reported that “the home may not be salvageable” due to “a hoarding situation.”
