The red maple leaf should never be relegated to second place on Parliament Hill, even for the Pride flag

Michel Maisonneuve writes that although he highly respects the LGBTQ community and understands why Canadians want to celebrate Pride month, the Canadian flag should never be relegated to second place on Parliament Hill, even for the Pride flag.

And as all of us served under one flag — the Canadian flag — he believed that this flag, the red maple leaf, represented all the diversity and inclusion that Canada embraced.
