Updated: The Lions Gate Bridge has re-opened after it was shutdown earlier this morning due to several spun-out vehicles.
TransLink said buses are facing heavy delays due to the snow and changing road conditions. Several routes in Vancouver have been temporarily suspended, while other buses are being re-routed to avoid slippery hills and challenging areas.
TransLink advised passengers to dress warm, allow extra travel time, and check their specific route before travelling. Afternoon sailings starting with the 3:35 p.m. departing Tsawwassen on this route are expected to proceed as scheduled.
