Anderson ending up in the Texans’ same hands at No. 3 was even more unbelievable, as a team that went 11-38-1 the previous three seasons pulled off the shocker of the first round and dominated sports TV across the country a few hours later. The Texans made the worst trade of the draft by giving up far too much for a former Alabama linebacker and Nick Caserio’s rebuild is already off track … or something like that.If mock drafts are as useful as the faded newspaper that lines animal cages, the week that follows the annual NFL draft is even more worthless.
He didn’t ace a pre-draft test … that will have no bearing on Week 1, Week 18 or anything that Stroud does between the lines that define for the remainder of an NFL career that hasn’t even started yet.Stroud can surely deal with and filter out all of the trashy noise. He also now has the money and life freedom to make a lot of non-essential things instantly go away.
