Beginning this week, more than 900,000 Mercedes vehicles will be able to access the Chat GPT program through voice control in the automaker’s “Hey Mercedes” system.
Mercedes-Benz and Microsoft are putting the power of artificial intelligence on the road.
This is the first time Chat GPT, the AI program that’s being used to create essays and write programs, has been used in a vehicle. “Whether users need information about their destination, a recipe, or answers to complex questions, the enhanced voice assistant will provide comprehensive responses, allowing drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road,” Boyd wrote.
