This will be No. 13 in NorCal for seasonal sandwich, salad specialist

Mendocino FarmsThe 13th Northern California location for the seasonal sandwich, salad and soup specialist is tentatively expected to open this fall at the new Mission Park Marketplace in the city’s northern tech corridor.

Owners Ellen Chen and Mario Del Pero began expanding their Southern California operation to the Bay Area in late 2017. They’ve got locations in Campbell, San Jose, San Mateo, San Ramon, Mountain View, Palo Alto and San Francisco, along with an Oakland delivery kitchen. Mendo Farms partners with sustainable California farm and culinary artisans and changes the menu seasonally. The current menu features a Chicken and Summer Street Corn Sandwich, with al pastor chicken and jalapeno salsa verde, and Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad, with black bean, roasted corn and jicama succotash. The Summer Heirloom BLT will make its debut June 28.
