The Trumps have ended their whirlwind and royal-packed five-day state visit toEurope
After spending time with the Queen of England and Prime Minister Theresa May, golfing in Ireland and commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, the president has officially boarded Air Force One to return to Washington, D.C. And given the trip's political purpose, it was, of course, a sartorial show in of itself -- including the Trumps' airport style.
The couple's departure on Friday proved that no one does plane wear quite like Melania Trump. The first lady took the tarmac at Shannon Airport in a Burberry trench coat, Louboutin heels and her iconic sunglasses --however, it was her Hermes headscarf that's drawing quite the reaction from Twitter. Many were quick to address just how much the first lady resembles another FLOTUS known for her signature fashion, Jackie Kennedy."This looks reminds me of a previous First Lady and fashion icon, Jackie Kennedy," wrote one Twitter user, followed by the hashtag gorgeous. Others were quick to say that the first lady instead took a page from Queen Elizabeth's style handbook: headscarves are one of Her Majesty's go-to accessories.
