Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has addressed recent reports regarding her correspondence with King Charles III., which revealed new details of her correspondence with the monarch following Prince Harry and Meghan's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. In a statement to, Ashley Hansen, global press secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, says that claims that Meghan is not attending King Charles' coronation over the matter are "ridiculous.
"The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago. Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous. We encourage tabloid media and various royal correspondents to stop the exhausting circus that they alone are creating," Hansen says.
