The mother-of-three shares how she talks to her children about gender identity and letting them express themselves freely.
“Noah started wearing dresses when he was about two, and I bought a bunch of books that sort of addressed these things and addressed a full spectrum of what this is,” Fox shared. “Some of the books are written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want. And that doesn’t even have to have anything to do with your sexuality.
The “Transformers” actor said that the bullying is also a reason why she doesn’t put her children on social media anymore. Fox last posted a photo of herself with her children on“I’m so proud of my kids. Noah is an unbelievable pianist. Noah can learn Mozart’s concerto in an hour and just absolutely shred on the piano,” she marveled, expressing how she would like to share those moments with people.
“So they know that their parents are famous, but their knowledge of it is very limited,” she said. “I knew when they were very young, I wanted to try to protect them however I could and a lot of that had to do with limiting their exposure to the internet.”, noted that so far they’ve done “a really good job” at maintaining their innocence.
