The Truro woman had always wanted some flashy disco items for her home, but always found them too expensive to buy. That’s when she set out to start making them herself.MEET THE MAKERS: P.E.I.'s Ocean Tossed Creations offer beautiful designs from beach glass and sand With everything gathered, Farris began to teach herself how to disco-fy various items. She began by looking at pictures on the internet and starting from there.Once she had the process nailed, Farris created her own social media pages to start selling her items because she knew there were other people out there who would love to have discofied items, she says.Now, Farris operates Disco Fever Designs, focusing on making custom disco designs.
