A medical emergency early Monday caused a major BART delay through San Francisco, officials said.
The delay was in all directions on the San Francisco line. Trains were running on a single track through the 16th Street/Mission Street station. According to BART spokesman Chris Filippi, a person was in the trackway and authorities removed him safely. Filippi said there was not indication that the person had been hit by a train
