'Tonight means everything coming back here.' Evan Engram made a monster return to the Meadowlands on Thursday night, a record-breaking evening for the Jaguars' tight end.
Engram caught seven passes for 113 yards, his second 100-yard receiving game in three weeks. He broke Kyle Brady's team record for receptions by a tight end in a single season and he's now 6 yards away from Brady's record for yards in one season .On a night when conditions were nightmarish, a pattern unfolded: quarterbackfound Engram on short routes in the flat and over the middle, and Engram piled up yards after the catch.
"We game-plan for each offensive player, Zay [Jones], Christian [Kirk], TJ [Travis Etienne], 17 [Engram]," Pederson said in his post-game news conference."You never know who's going to get the ball but in games like this, when the weather is a factor, a tight end can have big games."five turnovers in a 29-21 loss."Philly caught us off guard," he said."We knew all week what we were headed to. Engram led eight receivers who caught at least one ball from Lawrence, who completed 20 of 31 passes for 229 yards and had his sixth interception-free game in his last seven.
