D.C. police say they arrested Garry Denny, 50, in Tuesday's killing of Michael Evans, a 56-year-old Maryland man.
Michael Evans, of Clinton, Md., died of gunshot wounds in the 600 block of 56th Place SW. Police said they responded to a report of a shooting there about 12:45 a.m.Authorities arrested Garry Denny, a 50-year-old of no fixed address, and charged him with first-degree murder.
Efforts to reach relatives of Denny and Evans were not successful. An attorney for Denny was not listed in court records.
