As they look ahead to Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are united on which supporting character should receive their own show. The MCU's Phase Four saw plenty of supporting characters elevated to the forefront by way of Disney+ shows, stepping into the spotlight for projects like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY A recent Reddit thread posted by u/KostisPat257 got several fans talking about one particular MCU character who should get a Disney+ show – Wong. The user Bellikron was the first to mention fans wanting to see a Wong show, saying "it's a little weird they haven't announced one yet." In the comments, a bunch of fans chimed in supporting the idea.
In light of Wong and Madisynn becoming a fan-favorite duo, fans began joking about a romantic-comedy-type spinoff project. With the MCU's Phase Five continuing the Multiverse Saga, a light-hearted show chronicling Wong's multiverse adventures with Madisynn would actually fit nicely into the upcoming Disney+ slate.
There is clearly fan demand for a Wong spinoff, but the MCU better act now while it still can. The character will likely appear in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, and fans are worried that Wong will be one of Kang the Conqueror's casualties to demonstrate the multiversal villain is a serious threat, similar to Thanos killing Loki, Gamora, and Vision.
