McLaren aren't banking on a PU penalty for Fernando Alonso in their Alpine battle... F1
“If you look at the last six races, we were ahead four times, twice they were ahead in qualifying and in the races.
“The most important thing is that we just focus on ourselves. We need to make sure we have clean race weekends and use the car, the team and the two drivers, to get points. The Alpine team principal explained that the team’s approach was to focus on performance over reliability with their 2022 power unit, and is confident of his own chances of winning out over McLaren in the final two races – with millions of dollars’ worth of prize money on the line.
