“The landscape has changed since then, so we’re looking to survey Toronto small businesses again before the mayoral byelection. “We welcomed Toronto’s decision to continue the 15% reduction in the municipal property tax rate for eligible small business properties in 2023, while hoping the city will expand eligibility and increase the reduction.
“We need a mayor who has both the vision and the will to advocate for Toronto and work with other mayors to restore democracy and sound finances for municipalities.
