The luncheon is taking place at noon on Thursday, June 8, at the Northbury Hotel on Brady Street in downtown Sudbury

Mayor Paul Lefebvre has been named guest speaker for the Canadian Association of Retired Persons luncheon at the Northbury Hotel on June 8.Tickets can be obtained from CARP board members, whose phone numbers are on the organization's website, carpsudbury.ca. This is the organization’s 24th annual meeting, and there are approximately 1,500 members in the organization. Their mandate is advocating for older adults.

Aside from his ongoing series of town hall meetings in each of the city’s 12 wards, Lefebvre’s most recent public address took place on April 26, when he delivered his inaugural State of the City Address.
