Anna Haugh joins Gregg Wallace and Marcus Wareing.
Anastasia went for"classic" and"achievable" duck breast with parsnip three ways and chocolate almond cake with raspberry dust and a coulee. Parminder did a cod wrapped in shiso leaves, blending Japanese with Indian, with tapioca for a dessert.
Nathan whipped up a turbot with cockles and asparagus, with a dessert of choc cremeux with beetroot sorbet. William stepped out of his seafood lane and opted for a complex roasted venison loin with garlic gnocchi and sauce made from the bones, tonka bean and white chocolate panna cotta with caramelised bananas.
The contestants mostly got positive comments for their dishes, although Nathan's sorbet was noted as lacking some flavour, while William wobbled a bit of his dessert execution. Parminder easily sailed through, while the judges decided to break the rules and save both William and Anastasia, meaningcontinues tomorrow at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
