A SWAT team arrested a homicide suspect who barricaded himself inside a Granite Falls home on Tuesday. FOX13
Authorities say the 36-year-old suspect was wanted in connection to a deadly shooting that happened in Marysville on Monday night. The Marysville Police Department says on the night of Jan. 2, officers responded to reports of a shooting outside an apartment complex near the corner of 47th Ave. NE and 72nd St. NE. Authorities say a woman called 911 after someone had shot her boyfriend.
"He thought the suspect had left," said Commander Robb Lamoureux. "He was going to get something out of the car – the suspect jumped out of the car, they spoke briefly and the suspect shot him at that time." Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation announced that SR-92 was closed from Crooked Mile Rd. to 84th St. NE while authorities investigated the area.
