Marjorie Taylor Greene has come up with a new nickname for Congress’ Democratic “Squad,” calling them the “Hamas Caucus” after the progressive lawmakers called for an “immediate deescalation and cease-fire in Israel and occupied Palestine.
On Monday, Ms. Bush, along with fellow Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib or Michigan, Andre Carson of Indiana, Summer Lee of Pennsylvania and Delia Ramirez of Illinois, introduced the “Ceasefire Now Resolution,” calling for the Biden administration to “immediately call for and facilitate deescalation and a cease-fire,” and “promptly send and facilitate the entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.”
“We must do everything we can to save lives,” Ms. Bush said in her X post about the legislation Monday.
