Alabama is the top overall seed and will play in the South Region, while Auburn made it as a No. 9 seed in the Midwest Region.

Auburn will face No. 8 seed Iowa in the opening round in Birmingham on Thursday. Alabama will face either Texas A&M-Corpus Christi or Southeast Missouri State, which play each other earlier in the week. Duke won the ACC for the 22nd time and was one of five teams from that conference in a relatively weak year.Arizona State and Nevada made it off the bubble and into the 68-team field. Rutgers and Oklahoma State did not. Purdue, with 7-foot-4 Zach Edey leading the way, edged out UCLA for the fourth and final No. 1 seed.
The tournament begins Tuesday with two First Four games. The full madness starts Thursday with the first round, with 16 games and 16 more the next day.
