The Leafs open their regular season on Wednesday at home against Montreal.

With the start of the 2023-24 National Hockey League season just hours away, the Maple Leafs are being given good odds to win the Stanley Cup.BetOnline has the Leafs at 10/1 to win the Cup. Just four teams — the Carolina Hurricanes , the Colorado Avalanche , the Edmonton Oilers and the New Jersey Devils — have better odds to be crowned champion some time next June.

For the Leafs, of course, it would be the first time since 1967 that Toronto ruled the NHL world if they manage to get through four rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs successfully. Five teams share the worst odds to win the Cup at 150/1. That would be the Anaheim Ducks, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks and Philadelphia Flyers.

The Leafs open their season on Wednesday night at home against Montreal, kicking off a three-game home stand that includes visits by Minnesota and Chicago.Postmedia is committed to maintaining a lively but civil forum for discussion and encourage all readers to share their views on our articles.
