Brighter skies are expected over the weekend
Much of Greater Manchester will wake up to heavy rain this morning.... but, the weather will be brighter over the weekend.
The weather will then change to cloudy with some sunny spells forecast for the early afternoon. Blustery conditions are forecast for today, but the temperature will feel warm for this time of year with highs of around 18C. On Friday, forecasters predict there may be some showers in the morning in Greater Manchester. But sunny spells are forecast into the afternoon with clear skies predicted into the evening.
