The 30-year-old was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the one-vehicle crash on Friday, December 23.
A man who died in a horrific road crash on the A75 just days before Christmas has been named by police.
Officers have named him as 30-year-old Lewis Kearns-Kinnear from Castle Douglas. Nobody else was hurt during the crash.
