The man was struck by a Norfolk Southern train shortly after 2 a.m. in Bound Brook in Somerset County.
A man walking on railroad tracks was struck and killed by a freight train early Tuesday in Somerset County, authorities said.
“A person walking within the gauge of the track was struck by a Norfolk Southern train traveling on New Jersey Transit tracks this morning,” Spielmaker said.
