Date published: Tuesday 10th January 2023 6:21 -Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole is not convinced Wout Weghorst can make an impact at Old Trafford after his “absolutely terrible time at Burnley”.United were expected to bolster that position next summer but have brought their transfer search forward to the January window.
Many were taken aback by news of United’s interest; none more so than former Netherlands playmaker Wesley Sneijder,And Cole says he “was as surprised as anybody” to see the Red Devils attempt to bring in the Burnley flop.“I know he got a couple of goals in the World Cup and he’s on loan in Turkey now but he had an absolutely terrible time at Burnley.
