A man and two teenage boys face charges for allegedly threatening students at a private Jewish high school in North York during the noon-hour Thursday.Toronto Police say the suspected “hate crime” at Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto, located at 200 Wilmington Ave. – near Dufferin St. and Sheppard Ave. W. – was reported just after 12:30 p.m.“It is alleged that three attended the school and were asked to leave by security,” Const. Shannon Eames said in a statement released Friday.
She said the trio left the property, but as they were leaving the school, they passed a group of Jewish students and one of the males “made threatening remarks.”Three suspects were taken into custody. Enes Boydak, 20, and two boys, 14 and 17, face charges, including uttering threats/property damage and intimidation by threats of violence.Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to call police at 416-808-3200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS .
